UPDATE for January 2020:
I created this guide in 2011, so you'll have to take it with a grain of salt since dA has updated a bazillion things since then LOL. It now looks like many codes don't work in Literature submissions anymore, (or disable the "Eclipse" version of the site and show the old site instead), so some of the demonstrations here only look like regular text. But they should display properly if you copy/paste them in the comments. I'm so glad to see how many of you wonderful people still utilize this resource, so I wish you the best and encourage you to go ahead and experiment to see what works and what do

Introduction
So here we go! Welcome to the introduction to the animation study schedule I’ve set up!
:bulletred: Brief Disclaimer: I am not an expert in animation, but I am very passionate about learning it. I haven’t done work in the industry, but I hope I will be able to one day!
This blog will introduce you to the goals and lessons I’ve collected, which will hopefully help you improve and/or grasp the beginnings of animation! I set this up initially as a study plan for myself, but it’s much more fun to study with other humans, so here’s hoping this turns into something fun, good, and useful :)

It's the reason why our work can be perceived as wrong a bit , especially by traditional artists. People who are not artists usually say “something's wrong”
Our theme for today is colour of light and shadow.
I want to point out – there are many colour schemes and rules for that (it would be better to write an individual tutorial on that),
some are better for realistic works, some for surrealism, some for abstraction etc. It depends on your idea.
I have been rather silent here on DA, but I'm not completely inactive. I have been uploading my
most recent work on FA. If anyone is curious to what I have done, feel free to check it out.

That is all.
Well, i'll make this quick.
Recently I have been lacking 'fun' in my art. No, I haven't been having fun with my art and everything has been technical for me for a while now. I even vowed to not draw any fan work and work only my own original projects...
Aside from my comic that I'm working on, I have a new animation project I'm working on. It's basically a fight scene from two character from a story that I wanted to test out. The previous pokemon animation that I was working on will be scrapped entirely. I just wanna work on my characters now and it's a lot more fun to me. The animation will involve a griffon fighting a nightmare horse.
Also, since I am scrapping the pokemon animation would you guys care to see the entire animatic? Since I did not add any sound effects to it, it will be rather empty besides the voicing. It's another fight scene with a little bit of dialogue since I wanted t
